This is a brief description of the ministry ... Primary Focus and ActivitiesA new ministry has emerged as an extension to the care the visitation ministry already provides in the life of the St. Paul UCC faith family. This ministry is known as St. Paul cares, and focuses on providing support, personal attention and love to those who are shut-in or in the nursing homes. St. Paul Cares is a ministry of compassionate sharing between sisters and brothers of the faith. You have an opportunity to become an active participant in St. Paul cares. Those who so choose to participate will be paired with one of our shut-ins or someone who is in one of the nursing homes. You will be given their address or room number, birth date and anniversary information, with the expectation that you will periodically send that person a card, short note or letter on special holidays, birthdays or anniversaries. You may also choose to visit this person. St Paul Cares is to be one way this congregation takes care of those who are often the forgotten among us. We hope you will consider being part of this important new ministry and will sign up today to be an intentional baptismal connection with the many whose lives need to be remembered and celebrated among us.
